What the Gravel Bike Was Supposed To Be All Along
We created the Wolverine in 2014 not to be a "gravel bike".
Back then some big brand's new gravel grinders barely cleared 700x35mm tires
designed with a rather narrow goal in mind -- to compete in races.
We set out to make "monstercross" bike that fit Panaracer Fire Cross 45mm wide tires with fenders
– and also have a nifty carbon belt drive option.
And instead of focusing on just speed, we leaned into the utilitarian beauty of bikes.
And since then so many amazing riders have discovered
the versatility and capability the Wolverine platform offers.
Well its the 2020's and most brands have finally realized the
awesomeness of 700x45 to 50mm tires
and are designing their gravel bike frames to suit.
So here we give you the Wolverine --- the gravel bike finally grown up.
